I turned on notifications but never got a reminder. What should I check? +
Start in your iPhone's Settings app, find MedCert Pro, and confirm notifications are enabled. Then open the app and go to Profile → Notification Settings to double-check that your reminder thresholds and delivery times match what you expect.
I signed up with Apple or Google — how do I unlock the app next time? +
Accounts created with Apple or Google don't use a password. Just tap Continue on the lock screen, or turn on Face ID / Touch ID in Profile → Appearance & Security for one-tap access.
Can I use MedCert Pro without an internet connection? +
Yes. Every certification you save — including attached photos and PDFs — is stored on your device and stays fully accessible offline.
How do I back up or transfer my certifications? +
Go to Profile → Export Data to create a JSON backup or a printable PDF audit report, which you can share via Files, AirDrop, or Mail.
How do I permanently delete my account? +
Go to Profile → Delete Account. This removes your profile and every certification record stored on your device — it cannot be undone.

Privacy Policy

MedCert Pro is built so there's nothing to breach — here's exactly how your data is handled.

Local-only storage

Your certifications, license details, photos, and PDF attachments are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device SwiftData framework. MedCert Pro has no backend servers, so there is nothing centralized to breach.

Authentication methods

Email & password — your password is turned into a salted cryptographic hash and stored in your device's Keychain. MedCert Pro never sees or stores your plain-text password.

Apple Sign-In — only your name and email are used, solely to personalize your experience within the app.

Google OAuth — authentication uses Google's secure, industry-standard flow. Basic profile data may be shared with the app, but MedCert Pro never receives your Google password.

Biometric security

MedCert Pro never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric data. Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by Apple and kept in the device's Secure Enclave.

Features & data handling

Renewal reminders are generated and delivered locally, without routing through push notification servers. Email summaries, when enabled, are composed using your device's native Mail app — MedCert Pro never sends messages on your behalf. Attachments remain encrypted at rest on your device, and exports (JSON backups, PDF audit reports) are generated entirely on-device. Course lookup and certificate verification links require an internet connection but operate independently of any MedCert Pro server.

Tracking

MedCert Pro does not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking of any kind.

Data deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Because your data lives only on your device, deletion is immediate and permanent.
